Professional Supervision

Since 2017, I have provided high‑quality professional supervision to social workers, case managers, allied health practitioners, leadership teams, and organisations across a range of practice settings. My approach is grounded in contemporary supervision theory, extensive frontline experience, and a strong commitment to ethical and reflective practice.

I have offered clinical supervision since 2018, drawing on training in multiple supervision models and frameworks. My practice aligns with AASW Practice Standard 8: Supervision, ensuring a professional, accountable, and ethically robust supervision relationship.

What I Offer

Confidential, Ethical, and Supportive Supervision

Supervision is a confidential space for reflective practice, skill development, and professional growth. I maintain current knowledge in mental health, DFV, trauma‑informed practice, social work theory, and organisational dynamics to support supervisees across diverse roles and levels of experience.

Supervision for Students and Early Career Practitioners

I regularly provide supervision to social work students during placement, supporting them to integrate theory with practice, explore values and identity, and build confidence as emerging practitioners.

Supervision Across All Levels of Practice

I support:

  • Individual practitioners

  • Leadership/Managers, Team leaders and Coordinators

  • Multidisciplinary teams

  • Organisations seeking external supervision services

My Supervision Framework

My approach is informed by the three core functions of supervision:

1. Supportive Function

A space to explore wellbeing, resilience, workload pressures, and the emotional impact of practice. This promotes sustainability and professional longevity.

2. Educational Function

Development of skills, knowledge, and professional competence. This includes theory–practice integration, case reflection, and expanding clinical and ethical reasoning.

3. Accountability Function

Ensuring quality, ethical practice, and alignment with organisational and professional standards, including the AASW Code of Ethics and Practice Standards.
